This morning,i woke up at 3am,because it's too warm and so i can't sleep,so i decide to use the comp for an hour before returning to bed. As soon as i return to bed,it's still as warm as ever,so i've had it and i turned on the fan,hope tonight it won't be as warm.
Anyway,today i reached school at 9am,to find that my FYP teammates haven't arrived. J just left house when i called him,B is on the way,YR is sick,and XX is still in china. So,when we all entered the lab,W51C,we were told that we had to continue to cut even more fucking samples of the stainless steel. I'm beginning to wonder when the cutting machine will come,it took us almost the whole day just to cut the fucking stainless steel. Though today we did more of soldering,but i find that we have been doing the same things as before.
Also,today i accidentally touched the tip of the soldering gun (the end where you're supposed to heat up to melt the solder),and it's GODDAMN MOTHERFUCKING PAINFUL! FUCK YEAH BABY! LOL! It hurts so much even though i quickly rinsed my hand with cold water,but still,i'd prefer an ice pack any day then rinsing,or at least place my hand in a bowl/beaker/bottle/bucket of cold water. Before this accident,J also scraped his hand when he tried to pull the wire casing out of the wire,to expose the copper wires in it. He said it was painful too,and i saw that his skin got peeled off, so the lab technician gave him a plaster and that's that. No pictures today, too busy with stuff to go around taking pics.

For the other news,i saw one of my classmates,and we discussed about how we felt about our new classes,and i went around helping my fyp teammates check which class and who they're with. Needless to say,i ended up with a class that has my full DOTA kakis (friends).

Home Alone...almost la
My parents went malaysia for the weekend,so my elder brother,elder sister and I have the whole house to ourselves. Guess i'm gonna have to cook my own food for tomorrow (sunday) and probably monday.

RSAF Items
Ok,so today i went down to the place where we can redeem our free stuff from the RSAF website.
This is what i got:
-Key Ring (The shittiest item ever)
-Toiletries bag (The best item ever)
-Air wings collar pin (Look like crap)
-Apache & F-16D collar pin (I'm keeping it :D)
-Mobile Screen Cleaner (It's alright,but wipe a while dirty le,so if it's dirty,throw away)
-Plastic Pen (Black colored,normal crappy quality ink)
-Four Fix-it models
-F-16D (Easiest to build)
-Apache (Didn't build)
-Chinook (Almost spoil it :C )
-KC-135 Stratotanker (Too big,lazy to build)
Overall,not bad la,still got give a bag for us to carry the stuff home. But what i feel is that the place of collection is situated at a bizarre location sia. I mean,what kind of organization will want to place their collection point in the middle of some private properties? Makes the people go there so hard to find la. Anyway,we went there early,manage to collect our stuff and get the hell outta there as soon as we got it. Of course, when we leave, got more people walking around that area carrying sling bags, of course we dont need to why but we already know they're there for the goodies.
The area : I think the area's quite deserted,because it's private properties leh, should be quite 'Re Nao' bah,but i guess that isn't the case.

FYP day
Alright,so today i went to school to do my Final Year Project.
It sucked.
Well,firstly,i planned to go back to school to do the FYP on thursday, as the cutting machine arrives around that day,so we don't have to manually cut. (like shown in the previous entry)
However, our facilitator in charge wanted us to get the feel of manual cutting of stainless steel (1cm x 1cm),so we don't have a choice, we have to do it. So today,YR,J and me did mainly cutting of the stainless steel. (B didn't come,slept late). Fucking stainless steel,oh why are you so hard? (don't think dirty,kthxbai).
We started at 10am,an hour later,we're still cutting the fuckin' stainless steel. Then at around 12noon,we finally managed to cut out the 2 samples of stainless steel,and guess what? We have to separate those 2 samples,so we have to cut them again. ~_~
So,when we're done,we have to smoothen out the edges and one of the sides of the sample using sandpaper. After that,we have to solder copper wire onto the steel by using a soldering gun to melt the solder. (We didn't do that, as the cutting took up much of our time and strength. __|__)
Lunch - we ate at W4 canteen,most of the stores were open,but there's a fucking loads of human beings from the outside. We didn't know what's going on,and i didn't want to know anyway, all i know is that they're making the queue long, so i end up eating Ayam Penyet from Indo BBQ store.
After lunch,YR and I had to wait for 20 minutes while J was shitting in the toilet (He had gastric few days before). So like yeah,i got bored,went into the toilet, pulled out some toilet paper, went to the cubicle besides J's,and started laying the toilet paper at the top of the wall separating my cubicle from his (Of course,i kept quiet,not letting him know i was there). Then, he called out my name. It's not that surprising of course,since the three of us are the only ones around that area. He told me that at first he thought the guy in the cubicle beside his was offering to give toilet paper in case not enough, but its just too bad i laughed out loud and so yeah,he knew it's me.
We went back to the lab,after waiting 10 minutes for the facilitators to come back. So,like said before, we finished cutting and polishing of two samples, but we don't have the wires to begin soldering,so we started on cutting the next two samples. Then,our facilitator in charge(FIC) came over and told us that one or two of us can go to the nearby hardware shop in Marsiling to buy the wires. So J and YR left to buy,left me to cut the @$%$# stainless steel.

So,they're back,with some green/yellow colored casing around the copper wires. It cost $1.60, and we showed it to our FIC, he told us that there's too many copper wires in it,but it'll have to do,so we just claim the money,and that's that. ($10,000 (project funds) - $1.60 = $9998.40 left for us to spend ^_^) Oh yeah,before i forget, our FIC told us that our project also involves people from the university (forgot which le,but i think is NUS). He also told us that if our project is successful, we'll be given $500 EACH. You know what that means,don't you? +$500 into my pocket,kthxbye.
Lawl,so we were suddenly obssessed with the $500,and kept talking about it before it got lame and we stopped thinking about it. Anyway,we continued to cut,cut,cut,cut and cut the stainless steel for the rest of the day......................................................though i managed to prepare the wires for soldering. We left the lab at around 4pm,and our mood = dead tired. First time we stay until so late to do FYP sia,didn't really know it'll be so tiring. ~_~
Anyway,J went toilet to shit again,and played the same prank again.

What da fark?
Fucking RP give us some shitty fucking laptops while other students in other polys have much better laptops than ours...mind you,it's only the current Year 2s going Year 3s have FUCKING BULLSHIT laptops. Even the Year 1s have better ones than ours...fuck you rp.
Another thing is that RP doesn't fucking have any fucking language modules,whereas the other polys have the fucking language modules,offering different languages.

Randomness
Yesterday i went to school to ask about how to approach my FYP. For all you who don't know what i'm doing,my subject title is called 'Nanocrystalline Metallic and Polymeric Coating for Corrosion Protection'. Sounds tough,yes? YES,you're fucking right! lol
Anyway,my team was asked to do research at home to find out the best method to carry out the polymer side of the experiment first. (using the Science Direct website!)

I has it? or I no has it?
I woke up this morning at around 9:30am. It's really early,considering i usually wake up at 10am onwards,but today i woke up because i got a phone call from the employment agency,Recruit Express,that i might get a job if i wanted it and if the company hiring me is willing to hire me :O
So that's that,I might finally have a job.
-SGD$6.50 Per hour
-5 days per week
-2 weeks
-7:30am - 4:30pm
It seems like a pretty good deal,besides,it's a take it or leave it job,and i need a job to kill time anyway.Lets hope the agency guy calls me to tell me the good news.
I love the cooling weather,it's greating for sleeping at night :)

Today's Weather.
It's been raining cats and dogs today, and when i woke up around 10Am this morning,it's cooling, which is of course great la. Hopefully the weather continues like this for the rest of the month, since i dislike humid and warm weather >:(
