On 17th, I collapsed and found myself in the hospital and i was told i had a seizure. had a brain mri scan and was told i had about 6 tumours in my brain that can't be surgically removed, so i will have to undergo radiation therapy for it. was dischaged from hospital on 25th, but i still need to be on anti seizure meds for a while, so i need to take it easy from strenous activity and long walking etc for the time being. I have mc from work for 28 days. what a freaky experience but you know what? I DID NOT have a single memory of recalling anything that happened after i passed out at work until I woke up in the hospital much later. My current cancer drug is going to be changed to another oral tablet so that it can help flow pass the blood brain barrier and help with the brain tumours. but that means i can't take this new meds while i'm undergoing radiation therapy. i was offered 2. one was whole brain therapy that blasts even healthy cells, and the other is much focused gamma radiation, but its' more intense. Obviously i'll choose the second one, and I can receive the treatment as an outpatient at NUH. so thats that.
