Back home.

After a delayed flight, then rushing to my connecting flight, then having stomachache after eating the dinner, I've finally reached home. Warm and humid,but home at last. I'll miss the cool weather though.

Fucked it up again

Ok,so I left singapore without applying for my army exit permit to inform them that i'll be away for more than 6 months. So i applied exit permit sometime in jan. then now they inform me that I will have to report on the 22aug to get charged for not attending ippt/ipt (a.k.a fitness assessment training shit). How the fuck? Either I forgot to defer the ippt or someone forgot to update my info after submitting my late exit permit application. But seriously enough is enough, I'm really sick and tired of having to deal with this gangster organisation called the singapore armed forces. A little bit here charge a little bit there charge. wtf? they think charging people like charging credit cards...I will have to get my dad to call them up and inform them about my situation,and i will also email them.

I was told by my dad just now that he received a mindef letter to me back home in sg,i thought it was the call-up or something,but what the actual fuck.

Seriously, i'm so screwed up right now. My singpass can't get in without some security clearance crap,and my sg simcard is back home in singapore. How the fuck am i going log in to ns.sg? 

The only thing I can do is to contact them by phone and email tomorrow and send them all the evidence of my return for study documents see if the charge can be removed.

I'm not posting this portion on Facebook,because I know some people will get butthurt by this,especially if you have army friends and officers on facebook friend list. I just felt more than ever better to quit singapore. seriously. The way the saf treats its soldiers is crap,how are they going to expect them to fight for the country if all the saf ever do is punish, charge, detention barracks etc. I for one really have less and less tolerance about the way the saf/ ministry of defence is run.

I think I might really have to start seriously considering getting PR somewhere else. Not citizenship yet,just PR. Go overseas work a few years,then keep defering reservist training then get PR and if possible swap citizenship. I honestly dig deep within myself to see what there is to defend or to stay in singapore, and all i can think of is friends,but that's about it. Nothing about the country seem worth defending/staying for,especially with a communist political party and mass influx of foreigners. Being a male in singapore really sucks. At least for females they have an organisation to defend for their rights, but males = nothing but national slavery. After 2 years of crap, still have to attend reservist for 10 years with so many restrictions like exit permit, inform officers if going overseas, show proof etc. Then when it comes to reservist time,it's about 2 weeks to a month. So then what your employer going to say? of course they have to let you go but that will slow down the progress of the work. If the company hires many male sgreans,then they'll constantly have to deal with this shit. I know it's not always better moving to another country, but the liability of national service is too much for me to deal with. Ever wonder why so many people are chao keng in NS? because no one fucking wants to do it. They spend so much money on defence, but if soldiers' morales isn't there then the fight is already half lost.
