Alright, I wanted to make a post summarising my trip, but been procrastinating since I came back, but anyway, a quick update before I (hopefully soon) post my trip summary. Last therapy session last wednesday, I've come a long way, and the first year of therapy was exceptionally emotional and painful, but I'm glad it's all gone, right? We've made plans in case of any relapses and setbacks, so there's still open appointments in case I still need it. For now, I'm moving on to peer support groups, where I interact with other people who have been through similar situations, and continue to better myself. I think throughout the whole journey, I've managed to pick up some really useful habits, like writing a journal and reading books, although some are still a bit inconsistent, like doing static exercises and taking photos, but I'll get there.
Also, finished another book! That makes it the 6th book since I started.

Days 14 & 15 - Oslo and then returning home
Woke up and left the apartment, kept our heavy stuff in the train station's lockers and then spent whatever time we have left walking around Oslo Sentrum. By n9w, we're quite used to the cold, so whenever we entered a warm place after walking a while, our bodies are like boiling inside our clothing lol. Anyway, had a flight delay by 40 minutes for our first flight to Helsinki, so by the time we reached there, we had to dash to our connecting flight, and it's the first time I've ever was the last to board the aircraft (plus I wanted to stop for a toilet break too, good thing I didn't,but I eventually did after the plane took off). Came back home via taxi, and then unpacked and saw just how much stuff we bought back from Europe, even posted a pic on instagram. Anyway, woke up today and slept normally, seems like I've never left singapore, but I'm just glad I don't need to adjust too much, or maybe the effects will come a few days later, idk.

Day 12 - Train to Oslo and Day 13 - Oslo
woo, the train to Oslo from Bergen was amazing, hardly slept for the whole 7 hours even if most of it didn't have nice views, but the mountains of norway covered with snow is so scenic i want to come back again if it wasn't so expensive in norway lol. Had dinner at 11pm ugh.
Explored the city of Oslo the next day, really felt colder than Bergen this time, but we visited 4 museums in like 4 hours lol. 7 Nov will be our last morning/afternoon of our trip, and I'll miss the weather the most, I'll miss wearing t shirt and shorts in heated room, miss being able to get back home earlier because the sun has set etc. I don't wanna leave. . lol
As it is now, I'll rank Bergen as first, Oslo as second, Amsterdam/Paris Countryside as third, Berlin as fourth and Paris City as the last and the least liked. I'll write more after i reach Singapore, but yeah, this is probably the last or maybe I'll do one more update at the connecting flight airport. Also, managed to take some photos and upload onto my Instagram (zhiyuan.chin)

Day 11 - Bergen
Took the exxxpensive cruise ride to the fjords, and while it was worth seeing, it's pretty cold this time of the year, but more importantly, the ship is crowded. Like, I've havent seen a crowd since arriving in Bergen, but i guess its only because today is a Sunday and there's little shops opened.
After the cruise, my parents and I tried some whale steak (hopefully no one got offended reading this), and it turned out quite good, though I'm not a fan of medium rare meat (i prefer my meat well done). Off to the aquarium and then walked all the way back to our apartment for the day (turs out even the local supermarket is closed the whole day). I admit, i really love the coziness of this apartment, will miss it when we leave tomorrow... but for now, I'll just enjoy another night here.

Day 10 - Bergen
Raining again the whole day, got a little unhappy because our plans are all messed up. Ended up still going to the science centre and going to closed attractions just to look around, and its kinda good too as no one else is around but us. Went up the funicular for the night view and looks much better when the night lights gey switched on. Didnt manage to read the book I've borrowed though i only just started it yesterday. Weathr sucks this time of the year for everywhere we've been to, so i dont expect oslo to ne any better, but so far it's nothing we can't handle yet.

Days 8 & 9 - Bergen
Day 8
Spent most of the day flying to Bergen, so didn't really do much, but when we got to our apartment, i immediately knew it was the right choice. It's just so cozy and private, and i like it rather than having to share a space like in a dorm. Also, getting the Bergen card really is worth the money seeing as how things even in a supermarket is a expensive.
Day 9
Went up to Mount Floyen (and instagrammed there) but the view was mostly blocked by clouds. No worries though, there's little people that time (1030am),so no need to queue for the funicular ride. Also, really cold up there. Not cold enough to snow unfortunately, but cold enough. Took a bus to the old bergen museum and chatted with a local walking her dogs, then went down to the fisheries museum and had fun with my mum trying to magnetically catch pluahie fishes lol. Walked around the fiah market and saw some people standing really still and protesting against eating meat/promoting veganism. Since the sun sets early, we went back to our nearby supermarket for another round of grocery shopping and retired for the day. Tbh my favourite moment of the day. I dont mind spending tine outdoors, but I also do want to enjoy some time indoors, and i can get that, with the sun setting early and museums closing at 3pm heh.
