Full of lols

Today,J and his friend and I met up in a mcdonalds in yew tee. J and I worked on our fyp lab report,and his friend studied his own stuff. That mcdonald is the nosiest one i've ever to, with one birthday party followed by another. Damn noisy lah, then keep getting distracted here and there.

Finally,we sneak into a condo and used their pool. So J doesn't know how to swim,so his friend and i had to teach him,but he still doesn't get it -.- After a while,we gave up and do our own thing. After that, we keep diving into the pool in various ways, like running then jump, somersaulting into the pool, chokeslam into the pool and more ~_~

Soon, we went into the sauna,but i was scared because i dislike warm and heat,but i still go in anyway mainly because J dared me too. Then it started to get very warm and J still continued to throw more water into the heat generator,then suddenly it got so hot that we instantly sweat without knowing it,and all around us,the air was damn hot,machiam like incinerator like that sia...i tak boleh tahan liao then left the room,which J and his friend followed. LOL that was some fun experience,maybe we'll try it again next week :)

After the wild sauna experience,we went into the spa room, where this time the water is warm,and i was even more scared of it then the suana room because like i said,i dislike warm and heat. After much persuasion by J and his friend,i slowly placed my legs into the damn warm water,got used to the heat,then lower my body down,then eventually i can withstand the heat,though i didn't think it's as comforting as others have said.

We eventually came out of the spa room, feeling all groggy and tired from the warmth. Since there's a water fountain nearby, i asked J and his friend to fill the containers (from the sauna room) with water and pour it on me,and they poured on me twice, but it's damn refreshing la, the coldness suddenly woke me up from the warmth from the spa pool. We took turns pouring water on one another, then when everyone was ready, we changed and left.

By the time we reach the food court in Yew Tee,it's already almost 9:00pm,and i know i'm going to reach home late,so i might as well have dinner outside. While i was going home from yew tee to chua chu kang and go home (Bus 302 --> 67 --> 157), i noticed there's a lot of chio bus (bu's not bus ~_~) around,like what J's friend had said O.o Oh yeah,the bus #302 that i took back to CCK interchange was extremely cold,the coldest bus i've ever taken so far since the day i bought the wrong concession.

So today...

Today i took 93 to queensway to buy my sandals. My old sandals were bought cheap,so the quality not so good la,so my mom gave me some $$ ($60) to buy the sandals,and i bought a good one at $59. kthxbai nubs.

Wow,i feel today damn lucky day or something, my brother just went and buy headphones for me...lol

Nowadays i'm feeling bored,just staying at home...what you guys think i should do/start doing? I was thinking of going jogging,but dunno leh.

Wow...

Ok, so today we had a understanding test(biomaterials). Soon after the test,i went over to my friend's class and talk to him,while the rest of his class leave. When i was walking around his class, i saw on his table that there was a fugitsu battery charger and a Razer Diamondback mouse left on the table. I thought the person will come back and claim,because being a friday,things left behind would get thrown away. But the person never come,so i put the battery charger below the desk,and as for the Razer mouse,since it's such an expensive thing,i took it home with me,then ask my friend to ask around next tuesday to see whose it belongs to.

So while it's with me,i used it. of course la,who wouldn't right? :)
It's damn sensitive,and even though people say it's good for gaming,but i felt that it's much too sensitive to play at all :/

So,today i went to school to do my fyp again.

Today very boring sia,we went to take our samples from the oven then check the structure of the aniline coating on the steel using the optical microscope.Damn boring,keep taking pics and switching the magnification.

Then,we went for lunch,since there's damn lots of year ones in W1,we went to the nearby coffee shop to eat.

After that,I happened to meet L while on the way back to the lab,and there happened to be an open house for secondary school students. My friends and I went to the materials science booth,but because it's manned by Year 2s,they don't know we're also materials science,and we pretended to be curious,but in the end we pwned them deep!

Then,L went to the SEG (school of engineering) booths and tried a flight simulator game...it seems fun,until it got laggy and we went off,taking a stress ball with us. (from the DMTS booth)

It's a pity there's no time left when we are done for the day,or J and I will bring the guys to ActionCity at causeway point to see something "interesting". What this "interesting" thing is that it's a trick. There's a fake chewing gum on display in ActionCity and if you pull to try to get the gum pack out,you'll get a shock,not really painful,but more like shocking. It's damn fun la,i want to buy one of these and try it on you >:) I'm saying this is because i got tricked by my friends yesterday,they told me it's a "fun" game and not to take it seriously. Lol,it's the most amazing item evar!

Yesterday,a friend of mine wanted to borrow labcoat from me,but i didn't lend him because i also have lab on the same day too, then he say he use it very fast,but i didn't answer his calls, because i feel that if i lend him,then i myself no need to use,plus my lab is around the same time as him. Since he forgot to bring labcoat, then he should be responsible for his actions by telling the faci that he didn't bring,instead of asking me for labcoat,especially since he knows i have lab too. He could have asked someone else who doesn't have lab,but got fyp after school to borrow labcoat wat.

So now i was thinking,should i have lend him,then quickly take it back from him when i need to go lab,or not?

Correct decision or not?

Ok,so today i bought the bus concession for $52,and not the mrt concession,after serious considerations. Firstly,i come to a conclusion that in the morning,there is plenty more year ones heading to RP too,so the train is surely packed even before it reaches braddell,or have no seats left. Next,i also think that most of the time i'm going home around the evening (5 - 6pm),so the trains will be full of students and office workers going town/home. No point trying to squeeze onto the trains while the bus has seats + less walking.
Though it's not exactly value for money buying at this time of the semester,but i think it's ok la. Why i say this? Next month is holidays liao,and the bus concession ends on 8th of June.

Last day of bus concession

All right,i've made up my mind to buy the mrt concession once again,and not the bus concession.

Why? Well,mrt concession is cheaper,and that school holidays is just at the end of this month,so i think that it's not worth it to buy the bus concession for this month,but when the holidays is over,i'll get the bus concession again. I'm only doing this because i want to save $$ a bit, and also accompany my friend taking the mrt.

Any disagreements,please post. Try to change my mind,if you can,by today. If not tomorrow i will really buy. Anyway, i also have to go to the mrt station to buy the bus/mrt concession,so either way i have to take train to school tomorrow.

Anyway,today i had my fyp,and because our lab technician wasn't available in the morning, we went to the library to do our literature review,just to find out from our lab technician in the afternoon that we don't need to hand it up. ~_~
Next, because today was raining heavily, B and i did not manage to go swimming :(
Then, i managed to cut the stainless steel piece in less than 10 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Soon later,i left early because i have dental appointment, and i take the same bus as i took when i go home (969 --> 851). Before today,i never taken a bus for so freaking long,but i just took one today. (851) I took it all the way from yishun to SGH,and i think the journey was around one and a half hours,including the 969 trip.

Dental appointment: Because the bus journey was so long,i was late by 10 minutes,but they didn't say anything. So next appointment is at 23th of july, 8:15am. (Wednesday of course,i can't make it on other weekdays)

Ok, after everything's done and all, i walked to take 54 home. (I didn't take 851 because i thought i'll just give smrt buses a break,since i take 'em everyday twice) So,54 came,and it's a nokia bus. I only saw it,but never taken it before,so it's rather interesting o.O In my opinion,it's one of the best buses that i've ever taken,and that includes smrt buses,because it's comfortable,cooling and mainly because the engine is soft,so it's really quiet in the bus and i don't have to blast my mp3 player just to block out the engine noise. But then again, the nokia bus didn't have lots of seats, so by the time the bus reach orchard road, it's already packed and many people were standing. Me,i was seating at the sofa seat at the back,i've taken a pic of it when i board the bus,and when it has little people,but wish my laptop's bluetooth can work :(

So today is maths lesson...once again,doing about differential equations. However,the usual facilitator that teaches us this module is absent,so another substitute faci come in and taught us,and he is 2 times better than our faci la,he explain more stuff and more clearly. So even though today it's hard (as usual),but at least i feel that i understand better with the replacement faci.

Anyway,tomorrow i'm going swimming with B,and on my FYP's breakout somemore,around 12noon. Lol

Yesterday i went to watch Ironman,and it was nice!

Today i went to Toa Payoh to deposit my check to pay school fees. Last minute payment,yeah,i know,good job i remembered though :)

Tomorrow is a lab lesson.

Tuesday is the 5th maths lesson that i'm having,and probably will be a change of teams.

Wednesday is my fyp day,but i can only stay until around 1500,then i'll have to travel down to National Dental Centre at SGH for my dental appointment @ 1645 hours. And on wednesday,it's the last day of my bus concession.

Now,should i buy bus concession again,or switch back to mrt concession? (Don't suggest to buy both please -_o)

Pros of bus concession:
-Much lesser walking,an advantage useful nowadays because of extreme warm weather
-10 more minutes longer than MRT,and i have plenty of buses to take to get to woodlands/RP in case i miss a bus/late.
-Confirm can have a seat on either/both buses (851,969/965/858/169)
-More accessible to places that the mrt cannot reach

Cons of bus concession:
-Slightly more expensive lol
-Longer travelling time loh
-No fixed timing on reaching Woodlands/RP
-Leave home earlier,so have to wake up earlier too

Pros of mrt concession:
-Very fast
-Fixed estimated time arrival to woodlands. (with only slight variation compared to bus)
-Cheaper lol
-Can leave home later

Cons of mrt concession:
-Accidents might happen,then cause a damn long delay which results in waiting,or transferring to bus ~_~
-No seats...damn crowded due to many office workers travelling up north,plus increased number of Year ones.
-Walk longer,bad for me because weather so damn warm...
-Waiting time for train when going home is damn long (at around 4pm +,the ETA for trains is around 5 - 9 minutes). If i go home at 6pm +,the trains will be faster,but will also be freaking crowded,so crowded that sometimes i cannot even board.


Ok,after listing our the Pros & Cons of both bus and mrt concession, I need your opinion.

I think i might get bus concession again...To be decided in the next few days ^_^

Woot,first day of May.

Bad start sia,first day of may is a holiday,BUT the weather is extremely warm,cannot even enjoy staying at home for one day la.On the other hand,it's one more week till my bus concession is over! Back to mrt i go! Though mrt is faster,but i need to walk more,and the weather's not suitable for walking ~_~
