So,today i went to school for my graduation ceremony...lol the graduation gown is quite hard to wear and the hook keeps coming loose, and the hood also dunno how to wear :S Anyway,I invited my dad to come (my mom's working),but we don't have cameras,so :(
Anyway,we register, then we go in some weird room and sit on the floor, and guess what? GUESS WHO IS SITTING BEHIND ME! lol non-materials science readers will not know. So, we wait at the room and listen to the instructions, then we take our attendance card with us all the way until we take our certs. So row by row we stand up and walk in a single file to fill up the seats at the auditorium.
So,we listen to the G-O-H talk blah balh blah later, then start the ceremony, have to keep clapping until damn sian then don't clap le lol. However,i'm sitting alone and the nearest person that i know is one person apart,so hardly talk at all...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Our turn came, and i was really nervous la,i keep checking whether my hood was worn properly, breathe deeply...then it was my turn. You wouldn't believe it. It's my first time i've been to stage with so many people (probably three or four times the amount of people compared to the fyp competition at TP) and i was feeling the usual tense and nervousness. So i walk up and started to shake hands with the G-O-H,but somehow or other he only managed to grab my thumb and started shaking without my other fingers LOLOLOLOL,i just hope the cameraman did not take the hand shaking part, because i was feeling really weird and thinking how come my hand did not fully grip with his :S
So it's over, and we went back to our seats, and continue waiting for the other students, and yesss! it's over! Mass-phototaking session begins, lol my dad didn't have a digital cam,so just hang around, and i went to take photos with my friends & classmates. Had fun, took lots of photos, went to eat the buffet abit, bought the graduation photos @ $20 in a booklet..they'll send it to my house straight,ETA 2 weeks.
And lastly...
GRADUATED LO!
Well, after all this,i feel time passes by so fast and yi zhuan yan (in an instant) three years have past and here we are, graduating. I mean, like what the speaker had said,it really is a milestone in our life. We no longer can enjoy/suffer the joys/pains of schooling, because it's OVER. Sad leh, will miss all my friends. Yeah, sure you guys say that we can all still meet up,but still,it's not like as if we can meet up every week (they're probably busy with work, and when NS comes, it's even harder to meet up) and some of us will probably lose contact. I mean,it's not like school, where we can see one another, talk cock in class, decide on what to eat during breakouts, preparing for presentations and going home together.
