#73

Ok,it's been a few weeks (close to a month actually) since my surgery, and everything went well. I haven't had an audio test yet, as the surgical wounds were still closing in my last few visits to the ENT, At the moment, I don't feel like my hearing has any losses so that's good. I'm just going to avoid wearing headphones despite not having to wear cotton plugs anymore in case of any infection. Today was the first day I started some exercises with the resistance band. It's a good job I have the band as dumbbells might be too strenuous. My surgeon this time round was a different guy from the previous two, and he kind of left out the details on when I could work out, and so I just played safe and avoid workouts thus far. I'm planning to go on long walks on treadmill on my regular jogging schedule, just so I can loose some of the weight gained from eating so much during Chinese New Year. Speaking of which, I've just visited my sister-in-law's place and is the first time I've went visiting for CNY since like 2017 or something.

Gotta say, I haven't watched any anime since poly days, which was like 13 years ago, and Sora Yori Mo Tooi Basho (A Place Further Than The Universe) was so inspiring and amazing. I wished I could have seen the anime before visiting Sapporo, but still, it's so refreshing to see such a wholesome show. Too bad it's only 13 episodes but I get to pick up some random Japanese words too. I'm thinking of spending my SkillsFuture points on basic Japanese language course just so I can at least feel more comfortable traveling in Japan in the future. Besides, despite my utterly terrible ability to read mandarin, I think it'll still help a little in understanding and learning kanji characters.
