I admit i overreacted when i first heard from the doctor that I have ear infection. I know it is a simple infection that will go away in time, but I just felt so depressed from knowing that I have to go see a ear specialist and take additional medication in addition to my antidepressants. Why the hell can't I have a more normal life, instead of such stupid problems. My ear infection only happened this morning when i woke up at 3am to try to clear my ear,but I can't do it so I wait until noon when I'm back from the gym to ask my dad to help me clear but he said whatever's that in there, mucus or earwax, is too deep. I don't know about anyone else, but walking around doing daily stuff with a ear almost fully clogged is uncomfortable. It wasn't that bad this morning, only until I tried to get my dad to dig it out then it got worse. I seriously hate the clogged feeling and as a result I can only hear things mostly through my right ear, the left ear could pick up muffled sounds like as though I have earplugs on on one side of the ear.
While waiting to take the bus home,I felt in despair, knowing I have to take even more medication and having to endure the muffled sounds as well as choked full of stuff in my left ear. I knew I was overreacting but I just couldn't help it. It feels like life keeps throwing me problems to solve. Now I have to take the 1 week long antibiotics as well as a eardrop. Also, my dad has hearing problems on one of his ears, and we're worried that the same issue is also present in me, which might eventually lead to surgery if the issue worsens or wearing hearing aid. Sometimes i get ringing in my ear, sometimes i don't . I guess NS played a big part in this because of all the loud noises from shooting. I'll just say it here, people perceive discomfort differently, as is pain, so what may be uncomfortable to me might not be so for others. I read online that ear pressure changes as people alight from the flights, but does the atmopheric pressure really change that much when i go from the first floor to the 22nd floor? Hmm,something to ponder about. It feels like something is in there, and sucking it out works wonders, but seems the doc disagree :/ I really should stop whining like a kid these days, I guess it is partly my fault for not doing anything about this issue as I have ear clog occasionally over the past few years, BUT i only went to the doctor (not polyclinic) once to get my ears cleared.
I decided to change the domain name back onto the original blog that I started, since I realised (again) that it's better to express myself somewhere rather than random rants on fb.
